CAMERAS

Digital Cameras - Any digital camera will work.  We prefer to use Sony with high resolution. Always try to use a 1-2GB chip for better picture storage.

Ultraviolet or full spectrum camera - this is a full spectrum lense that will detect images in each spectrum of light that would not regularly show up on a normal camera .

Infrared Trail Camera- Trail cams are commonly used by hunters to track prey, but they are a wonderful asset to the paranormal research community.  These cameras can be used to up to 2GB of of still pictures or it can be used to film up to 12 hours of digital recording.  The can be placed in hard to reach places due to their compact size and strapping system. It has infrared capabilities due to the LED lights and self timer.

35mm Camera or Disposable Cameras - This film can be used to document events during an investigation eventhough it is an older method. It is said that this fil fires much faster than digital cameras, therefor catching faster moving images. It also causes less interference with photo artifacts.  The only con is that the film must be developed and repurchased.

Poloroid Cameras -  this type of camera can be used, but it can be difficult with the older, larger models to find the film. They can produce a lot of artifacts due to the developing process.  The benefits of these are that you have picture in hand in under 2 minutes.  They have already developed new modes that are starting to become very popular.  They are much smaller and lighter.
